Among the most notable nanotechnology applications is its employment in environmental remediation and biomedical applications. Nonetheless, there a need for cleaner sustainable methods preparing nanomaterials that use cheaper, more environment-friendly precursors than conventional synthesis process. The green chemistry approach preparation of nanoparticles becoming attractive as it uses non-toxic chemicals reagents. It also offers cost-effective process readily available plant sources microbe redox mediators converting metallic cations to metal or oxide nanoparticles. extracts these plants contain phytochemicals metabolites variable quantities, which serve capping agents stabilize biosynthesized present article reviews recent studies on fabrication silver (Ag2O-NPs) via plant-mediated microbe-mediated synthesis, giving concise discussion Ag2O-NPs employing different microbial sources. performances are reviewed, highlighting their potential photocatalysis

We report a facile green approach to the synthesis of silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) on the surface of graphene oxide nanosheets functionalized with mussel-inspired dopamine (GO-Dopa) without additional reductants or stabilizers at room temperature. The resulting hybrid Ag/GO-Dopa exhibits good dispersity and excellent catalytic activity in the reduction of nitroarenes.
